Tried to hold an event there. Set everything up with one guy who we thought had the authority to do so, assuring us that getting a one day liquor license wasn't a problem and when we went to pay the deposit(4 days before the event) the owner treated us like we were the dumb ones and acted like it was our fault they didn't have a liquor or entertainment license. So we had to cancel and refund everyone's money 4 days before our NYE party. Lost out on money for flyer and poster print services, wristbands, DJ rental equipment and service charges on the tickets we had already sold. I should have known something was fishy when he said a contract "wasn't necessary". Damn right me, and everyone else looking forward to the event is a bit bitter. Not. Cool.

I really like the food. Will also make something to order if you prefer not so spicy or spicy.

Nice new restaurant. My whole family loved it. Had food for kids who won't eat spicy food. Food was great!

I do not understand the good reviews. My coworkers and I (who all LOVE Indian food) had the food from this restaurant and found all 3 dishes we ordered completely inedible. Truly the worst "Indian" food any of us have ever had. Initially I was so excited to see that there was a new Indian restaurant somewhat close to the office but quickly turned to disappointment. I truly hope the food improves or this place will not last.

Just had the lunch buffet at Magic Tandoor and it was delicious. The buffet had great variety and the best Persian cookies I have ever tasted. The service was excellent and friendly. Please give this new restaurant a try you won't be disappointed.

Great place for bulimics! I'm a binge eater, and couldn't keep any of their crap down!

The staff was very friendly. They made feel so welcome. The food was awesome. I have been to this restaurant twice since it has opened. The lunch buffet is good and it's a reasonable price.

I loved the food and service. Better option for food than anywhere else I've been to in Glen Burnie.

I work in Glen Burnie twice a week and have been coming in each week for lunch for over a month. The food is good authentic Indian, buffet is always delicious. The owners are always friendly and willing to modify anything if asked. They even remember I prefer no naan! (I like naan but am watching carbs. ).

Came in one morning for the Indian Buffet with my friends a few weeks back. This new restaurant really has some great items, as well as potential to be even better! The food was consistently good, but we felt there was a bit too many varieties of rice while not a lot of varieties of other items. I'm sure that's changing though, as we'd caught them RIGHT at the beginning of their buffet opening. Everything tasted top notch, and we can't wait to go back again when we get that hankering. Ask them to spice it up for you, if you like it hot! They know what they're doing! :D

Went there for the first time on Friday and it was delicious. Newer restaurant, so still getting settled in with decorations and working on getting the bar permits, but was very clean and the staff was so friendly. I've moved around a lot and have had Indian food prepared lots of different ways. I don't think there's any "right" way that dishes have to be prepared. I judge them on whether the flavor a worked and if I would order it again. This restaurant exceeded expectations on both of those. We ordered chicken samosas for our appetizer. Two large, fully stuffed samosas came to the table. They had a great consistency and were seasoned well. A lot of flavor packed into those guys. My husband ordered the chicken vindaloo and was very happy. He ordered it medium, which he said was "comfortably spicy." He thought it was well-balanced and really nailed his craving. I ordered the chicken biryani which was one of the best I've had. It had so much flavor packed into each bite and all of the chicken was white meat (no dark or grisly bits in sight). It also didn't have raisins or nuts which was a plus in my book. The portion was more than generous and I ate it for the lunch the next day too. We also ordered naan and they brought a jalapeño cheese naan to try on the house. Both were great. Don't let any of the negative reviews prevent you from trying this place. The staff is anxious to cook you a meal you'll love. Just tell them what you want or how you like it and they'll accommodate your requests. We will definitely be back. So glad for there to be another great option in Glen Burnie!

$8.99 lunch buffet. Good variety.... Everything you would typically get at an Indian buffet First time I've seen baby eggplant and I've been to at least a dozen Indian spots. They also include other Pakistan and American options for people who aren't sure about Indian food. I was surprised by the vegetable rice and saag... Two items in not usually crazy about but always try (I mean come on its a buffet). Mango lassi... Pretttty good if your into that stuff. Manager was really nice.. Said if I wanted something a certain way or recommendations to just let her know.

Great little new Indian restaurant. Came in and they had a nice buffet. The chicken tandoori was absolutely fantastic. The food is not heavily spiced so anyone can eat this food. If you want stuff spicier or less spicier they will do anything for you. They apparently do great catering as well Give this place a try

Wonderful food. Had the Saag Paneer and Naan. They offer generous portions. If you stay away from Indian food because of the heat, don't...They will gladly adapt the food to your level of heat. Great atmosphere and wonderful staff. When you are in Glen Burnie, MD, please stop in. You will not be disappointed

Almost missed this place due to location. Came in due to hankering for indian food and i was not disappointed at all. First things first. The decor does need work. Its clean but doesnt tip you off to the food you will be getting. Echos a bit too. Secondly there is currently NO buffet so if you are looking for that you are missing the point and they should probably remove the signage. What they do have is a pick your platter arrangement instead which im happy to report is great. The butter seafood was cooked to perfection as was the tandoori chicken. Their vegetarian options are also great but what you need to remember is the food is meant to be mixed around. Just attacking one thing at a time is like holding down one string on a guitar and plucking away. Sure you might be able to squeak out a song but its not going to be a good one. So by all means mix it up a little! Removed star for: Decor, Location.

Very good, clean friendly service. Lunch buffet was reasonable and tasty. Nice to see something other than an Asian or pizza shop in Glen Burnie

I have a problem...my tastebuds can not be tamed. This was my first time at this restaurant and I'm in love. The food is delicious, the customer service is superb, and the prices are reasonable. Who would have thunk, 8.99 for this feast

Food is off the chain!! Decor is great, staff are friendly and awesome. It is not often you can leave a restaurant feeling happy, full, and completely satisfied on all fronts. This spot offers all that. Flavors are excellent

A newly decorated restaurant in Glen Burnie that has the unique feel of a family owned business that cares about one another, the product that they offer and the community as a whole. An exquisite selection of traditional Indian cuisine. The restaurant was spacious enough for a large group but quiet enough to hold conversation. The staff was helpful and knowledgable when I had questions about particular food items. The buffet was the best way to experience the culture's food and not go overboard financially. The food along the buffet line was hot and looked fresh, not cold or appeared as if it had been out all day. I believe that the Magic Tandoor will receive a 5 Star rating once their liquor license becomes effective. Overall a great new restaurant experience was had, one that I can't wait to share with my family!

I saw the great reviews but I have to disagree. First when you enter the restaurant the decor does not even remotely indicate you have arrived to an Indian restaurant, it looks almost like little country side bistro. There was no music, really quiet. We had lunch buffet and the food was average Indian but it was missing many typical Indian buffet dishes like tandoori chicken, salad and different dressings and chutneys. For dessert there was some funnel cake type dessert with fruit pudding. The service was good and fast and the naan was delicious. We were the only customers there so that already should have been a red flag. It really left me craving a good Indian buffet like Little India Cafe.
